When I'm with you,
Nothing else seems to matter.
Time stands still just for us.
Worries are no longer thought about,
Problems seem so few.
I feel no aches or pains
I’m oblivious to life’s strife.
I cannot see or hear anyone else but you.
You are my reason for living.
My hopes, dreams, and desires,
I share them all with you.
Without you, I have no tomorrow,
No purpose, no direction.
I am at peace in your arms.
This is where I belong,
This is where I will forever stay.

Transformation
I need to forgive the men
Who walked out of my life,
My father, my son, my brother.
I need to forgive the women
Who walked out of my life,
My wife, my mother, my sister.
I need to ask for forgiveness
For the hurt I have caused,
For the wrong I have done.
I need to forgive the pain I have inside.
I need to do the hardest thing in my life,
I need to forgive myself.
Only then...
Will I be able to change.

Tragedy
I can write a poem better than the next guy
I can sing a song and not miss a beat.
I can write a novel in a couple of months.
I can make you squirm just by the touch of my hand.
I can make you weak at the knees by my sight alone.
I can make you shake, rattle, and roll.
I can make you scream and shout my name.
I can make you beg and holler for more.
I can make you faint from my hugs and kisses.
The truth of the matter is
I can love but I have never been in love.
Oh, what a tragedy.
