Eve Hall is a children's author and poet residing in Atlanta, GA. She has been writing for more than 35 years. She was born and raised in Dayton, OH.
Her work has been featured in several magazines including A Poet's Cut, Skyline Publications, Saplings Magazine, Purpose, Mature Living and Weeones.
Eve has won several writing contests, winning 1st-5th places. She also writes short stories, prose, and non-fiction. She has published three poetry chapbooks, and has self-published four books: Dontay's Alphabet Book of Color, Dontay's Poetry Playground, Enter Eve's Poetic Paradise,
and Enter Eve's Musing Moments. Her next book is titled Dontay's Dog.
She has been nominated for several awards, including Poet of the Month and Poet of the Year at Poetry in a Cup, and Poet of the Year in Shades of Romance magazine.
She attended the Hurston/Wright Writer’s Workshop at Howard University in 2001. Alexs Pate, the author of Amistad was her teacher.
She was chosen to be a guest at the Dahlonega Book Festival and The Larmar Arts Center in Barnesville, GA in February 2005.
One of her goals is to publish over a dozen books that she has written for children.

My poetry comes from my heart and soul, from life's experiences. I write with simplicity and feeling. Some of my poems will put a smile on your face, others will put a tear in your eye. If I can make just one person happy on this rough road of life, then I am a success. With tenderness and passion, joy and pain, I celebrate with those who love and ones who are loved.
